One of the author friends I made in Cape Town during my NaNoWriMo experience has been working on a debut “Women in Empowerment” newsletter whereby she deals with issues pertaining to gender equality and the role of women in leadership. It also looks to uplift those who are either poverty-stricken or who feel they have no place in the world.
I am pleased to announce that the newsletter has finally been released. And as a representative for the HeforShe organisation on Gender Equality, established by Emma Watson, I am pleased to be able to share this with you today.
The newsletter has hardly been out a week and the author, Chimnese Davids, has already been contacted to give talks on the matter to schools and libraries. It has been shared with the Mayor of the City of Cape Town, as well as with the United Nations HeforShe organisation, Emma Watson and my LinkedIn Group for S.A. HeforShe.
So, if you would also like a chance to view the start of a newsletter that will be making waves around the world, visit https://celenicearth.files.wordpress.com/2016/05/newsletter-women-of-empowerment.pdf for a full copy of it. The author’s details are on the last page if you would like to discuss the matter with her personally and give some ideas for future editions.
In love and grace
